We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join the Innovation Excellence Team. The Project Manager will lead teams to successfully deliver multiple projects by balancing scope, time, cost and quality while maintaining a positive environment that promotes individual development and high performance standards. This person must have a solid understanding of project management and change management tools and approaches to manage multi-disciplinary projects and the flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams to deliver balanced integrated solutions.


Reporting Relationship: Director, Innovation Excellence
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, some weekend or evening work may be required

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Manages multiple projects that span various functional areas of HRH, from initiation to close.
  • Pulls diverse and interdisciplinary groups together, emphasizing interdependence, shared overall objectives, and the need for combined skills.
  • Assumes responsibility for and leads all project interdependencies between projects and with key stakeholders.
  • Manages assigned project staff, including allocation of staff resources, delegating, scheduling and prioritizing of staff workloads.
  • Create, maintain and execute all appropriate project artifacts – including project charter, change management plans, overall project plans, statement of work, budgets, and other project related documentation as appropriate.
  • Actively lead project planning, implementation and monitoring activities and provide status reporting following HRH project methodology standards and templates to ensure all stakeholders receive accurate information on project progress and performance.
  • Monitors the deliverables of each team member to ensure successful project delivery within the constraints of scope, schedule, cost and quality.
  • Lead and manage procurement related activities in support of project delivery.
  • Identify, manage and escalate project issues, risks and changes as appropriate.
  • Ensure a smooth transition into operations, including establishment of technical and administrative procedures, training, and maintenance and support arrangements.
  • Support the project/initiative prioritization process as appropriate (e.g., development of business case, QA of project proposals/estimates, analyzing feasibility and sequencing), ensuring transparency of the prioritization process and regular communication with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required


Qualifications: 

  • 5 years related work experience on digital health related projects – primarily in hospital setting or in integrated teams.
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated progressive Project Management experience – primarily in healthcare/hospital setting.
  • Successful completion of post-secondary education in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is required.
  • Change management certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to work. Develops in-depth knowledge of project.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders to establish trust, credibility and respect.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent presentation, technical writing, facilitation and training skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and/or deliverables concurrently.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Excel, project management related software required.
