Employment Status: Temporary Full Time
Duration (if contract) :3 years subject to change as per Management Rights
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours/ week, Monday – Friday; with some flexibility as required - subject to change as per Management Rights

Are you excited by the thought of shaping the future of healthcare in Canada? Do you want to join a growing team which aims to make transformative changes to the healthcare system? We are looking for a Research Associate to join the team and help contribute to an incredible research environment.
Under the leadership of the Research Chair in Primary Care and Population Health Systems, our research team was recently awarded a 3-year CIHR Team Grant to investigate public health system responses during the opioid crisis. Your role will be to support the Research Chair in managing the day-to-day operations of the grant, apply your scientific expertise to co-lead research projects aligning with the grant objectives, and participate in other research projects within the Research Chair portfolio. We are looking for someone who is passionate about achieving transformative health outcomes, enjoys working within a dynamic and distributed team environment, and is eager to engage in rigorous, high quality population health science.
Job summary: To provide ongoing management of a 3-year CIHR funded team grant, consult on the design and execution of research studies; lead the collection and analysis of research data; provide scientific expertise on research projects; help develop an academic culture; and build research capacity.
