As part of our dynamic team, you can lead the way, as we continue our journey towards high reliability care!   We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Technologist - CT to join our Medical Imaging team.   Responsibilities: - Perform all CT procedures as per determined department protocols or as directed by the Radiologist - Ability to operate all types of equipment used within the departments, including CT scanner,Contrast Injectors,etc - Prepare and assess patients for CT scan including obtaining contrast consent, confirming exam validity,sterile technique practices and resourcing Radiologist as is necessary - Complete exam process by image review, confirming documentation and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACS - Knowledge of and dutifully follows radiation safety practices for the protection of the patient, colleagues and their own occupational dose Requirements: - Must be registered and in good standing with CMRITO. - Registration with the CAMRT preferred - CT certificate preferred - Previous experience in CT preferred - Ability to work independently as well as within a group environment. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Must have good teamwork and customer service skills. - Must be IV certified.   - Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.  Hours of work: Available to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends   Employee Group:OPSEU 577   Hiring Range: $32.98 - $44.23   Why Humber?
