The Division of Geriatric Medicine has a team of five geriatricians that is well integrated through inpatient and outpatient care as part of the Department of Medicine.   The successful candidate must have a Royal College certification in Geriatric Medicine and be eligible for licensure in Ontario.    The position involves attending on a 32-bed acute geriatric care unit as well as caring for frail seniors post-hip fracture in a shared-care model with orthopedic surgery.  Additional clinical rotations include, inpatient consultation and outpatient geriatric medicine clinic (with both virtual care support and in-person evaluation).  The successful candidate can expect growth in the areas of the complementary bone health clinic and community outreach opportunities.   HRH has an expectation that all physicians will apply for an academic appointment at one of our university affiliates.
