We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Support person to join our Information Systems & Telecommunications team.   Working collaboratively with staff, the successful incumbent will deliver first level support, innovative customer focused service by analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving Computer hardware/software and application related issues to hospital Staff, Physician and Volunteers in an efficient and courteous manner.     Location: Humber River Hospital – all sites Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm  Employee Group:  Non-Union Responsibilities: - Acting as the first point of contact for all computer and related hardware, application and telecom related requests for IT service and support. - Resolve technical issues related to servers, computers, printers, computer peripheral devices and telecommunication devices. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Office and health information applications. - Recording, categorizing and logging requests for service using a central ticket management solution; - Leveraging available tools (SMS, remote support utilities, knowledge base and other sources of documentation) to resolve incidents in an efficient and effective manner - Transferring and escalating incidents and problems to 2nd/3rd level support resources and following up with ticket owners to ensure resolution in a timely manner; - Provisioning, changing and de-provisioning user accounts in accordance with corporate policies and procedures - Ability to provide training to staff and users. - Develops procedures and provides documentation for staff and users manuals. - Upgrading existing PC Hardware and software. - Provide technical support to hospital staff during business and after hours by participating in on-call rotation - Provides end-user support for the installation and support of applications. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements: - Successful completion of University and/or Community College diploma in a health-related or computer technology program. - Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Technical Service Desk role is required. - Minimum 3 years’ experience with expert level proficiency in Microsoft, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Microsoft Office 2013, MS Server 2008/12, MS SQL 2008/12, and Citrix Desktop is required. - Experience with Meditech and other healthcare information applications is an asset. - Experience with troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware, printer hardware, peripherals, and E-Mail Systems issues is required. - Experience in troubleshooting Local and Wide area networks and is an asset. - ITIL Foundation experiences and/or certification is an asset. - A highly developed customer-service orientation. - Excellent attendance and discipline free record required. We are currently seeking a Clinical Coordinator- Infection Prevention & Control (IPAC) to work for our Infection Prevention & Control (IPAC) department. As part of our dynamic team, you can lead the way, as we continue our journey towards high reliability care!   Join our team of Critical Care Registered Nurses as we work together to deliver compassionate care that is responsive to the healthcare needs of our community.   Our Critical Care Unit offers state of the art care for cardiac, medical and surgical critically ill patients.    Our Critical Care Registered Nurses are charged with the care of the most vulnerable patients and their families.  Using the latest technologies and working with interdisciplinary teams they deliver compassionate paitent-centred care.   Reporting Relationship: Manager of Critical Care Hourly Rate Range: $33.90 to $48.53 Schedule Requirements:   Must be available days, nights, weekends and statutory holidays.  Location: Wilson   Position Responsibilities:    - Care of acutely ill cardiac medical and surgical patients. - Care of patients requiring Hemodynamic and ventilation monitoring by means of invasive and non- invasive approaches. - Care planning and coordination of care with various team members embracing patient centered care. - Utilization of computerized systems for documentation of patient care. - Participation in project teams or Hospital committees as required.  Qualifications:     - Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required. - Current BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred. - Minimum 2 years Critical Care experience. - Critical Care Certificate required. - Experience in working on a Nurse Lead Rapid Response Team preferred - Experience in critical care with hemodynamic monitoring and invasive and  non invasive ventilation required. - Basic computer skills required. - Good problem solving skills required. - Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work with a multidisciplinary team, patients, family members and visitors. - Excellent organizational skills with an ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. - Demonstrated good patient assessment skills. As part of our dynamic team, you can lead the way, as we continue our journey towards high reliability care!   Join our team of Oncology Nurses and deliver outstanding patient centred care. At Humber River Hospital Our Oncology team provides a full range of support to patients who are living with cancer, at all phases of their cancer experience - consultation, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and palliative and supportive care.   Right now we are seeking a Registered Nurse for our 13 West Oncology Unit.    Our Oncology nurses specialize in treating people with cancer serving as their first line of communication as they help to coordinate and deliver many aspects of a patient’s treatment, including administering medications, fluids and cancer treatments such as chemotherapy.  They are caring individuals who are dedicated to assisting patients as they undergo treatment.   Reporting Relationship:  Clinical Manager, Oncology Hourly Rate: $33.90-$48.53 Hours:  Must be able to work 8 & 12 hour rotating shifts – Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends   Position Responsibilities: - Administration of Chemotherapy. The teaching and certification process is provided by the hospital - Care planning and coordination of care with various team members. - Utilization of computerized systems for documentation of patient care. - Participation in project teams or Hospital committees as required. - Resource/team leader responsibilities. - Preceptorship of nursing students and Mentorship of new nursing staff.   Qualifications:  - Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. - Current BCLS certification. - CNA certification in Oncology Nursing is preferred. - Current DeSouza course in Oncology Foundations, preferred. - Current DeSouza Oncology Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, preferred. - 2 years recent experience in oncology. - Current Oncology and or Palliative specialty designation from CNA, preferred. - Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team, patients, family members and visitors. - Demonstrated good patient assessment skills.
