Position Responsibilities:
- Patient population includes a variety of areas and include inpatient acute medical and stroke.
- Provide psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, discharge planning and counselling to patients and their families.
- Act as liaison and assist patients and staff with community resources.

Right now we’re looking for a Full-time Audiologist Coordinator to work in our Maternal & Child Program.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate hearing and provide habilitation for individuals from infancy to adulthood. Assessments include the use of Behavioural Observation, Visual Reinforcement, Play and Conventional audiometry.
- Hearing aid evaluations and verification along with routine hearing aid checks and readjustments for both the paediatric and adult populations.
- Collaborate with other member of the interdisciplinary team regarding patient care approaches and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with other Audiologists as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Unit Aide duties within the Intensive Care Unit
- Ensure that the supply carts are stocked
- Transportation clean stretchers, carts, medical/surgical equipment/supplies, patients, specimen etc.
- Appropriate distribution and collection of supplies, equipment, instruments, trays, etc.
- Ensures that sufficient supplies are on hand for patient care until the next ordering shift.
- Acts as a liaison with SPD, volunteers and ICU/CCU team members
- Works co-operatively and constructively with all department team members.
- Help move the patient within the department including assisting with patient transfers
- Assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment including cleaning equipment and ensuring equipment is functional including routine checks on the ICU equiptment

Requirements:
- Completion of minimum high school grade 12 and able to produce a diploma of completion is required.

At Humber River Hospital, the Clinical Manager plays a key role in establishing and driving the approach to how we provide care to our patients in the assigned clinical area. Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct fiscal and human resources required for departmental and program operations.

- Integrate clinical program functions, philosophy, process, policies with other program areas to improve patient care quality outcomes and patient/family experience (e.g. inter-program patient flow).
- Manage internal and external communications and coach unit staff in customer service methods; resolve patient and family concerns and labour related issues.
- Clinical leadership in Respiratory and Cardiac Diagnostics.
- Monitor and governs compliance with professional, accreditation, ethical, and legal standards.
- Manage escalated issues independently and in collaboration with clinical team; take action to resolve issues and conflicts, and maintain positive relationships.
Qualifications:
- A Baccalaureate Degree and/or Diploma in health related discipline is required. Master's in Health Science, or related field required. Candidates who are actively pursuing their Masters will be considered.
- Current registration and membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or equivalent regulatory body
- Membership with Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) or equivalent professional association
- A minimum of (7) seven years of related clinical experience in an acute care hospital
- A minimum of (5) five years management experience with direct people management responsibilities

- Provide patients with relevant mental health and addictions community resources
- Deliver patient educational groups (via video or in person) for referred patients
- Present complex referrals/assessments in team clinical rounds and communicate decisions with referral source and patient as appropriate
- Participate in department related projects or committees to improve intake processes
- Liaise with internal mental health team members to ensure correct placement of referrals
- Provides coverage to other areas of the Outpatient Mental Health program as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BCLS/CPR certification required.
- BScN preferred.
- Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing required, or willingness to obtain within one year of hire.
- 2 years of recent mental health/addictions experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide individual/group health teaching for patients and staff.
- Excellent assessment skills, including demonstrated knowledge of crisis intervention skills.
- Demonstrates awareness and understanding in working with individuals from different cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to work with complex patient and family situations
- Demonstrates an excellent understanding re: the etiology of mental health/addiction illnesses.
- Excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
- Knowledge/experience in Trauma Informed Care preferred.
- Technology literacy and usage skills preferred. Such as: video conferencing using MS Teams, OTN etc, and ability to use mobile technologies such as smartphones and tablets to connect patients to care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health & Addictions community resources is an asset
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Position Responsibilities:
- RN responsibilities for surgical patients.
- Care planning and coordination of care with various team members.
- Utilization of computerized systems for documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:
- Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BCLS required or demonstrated competency.
- Demonstrated knowledge of acute medical/surgical care.
