Position Responsibilities:
- Patient population includes a variety of areas and may include inpatient acute medical, ICU, Surgical, Emergency and Geriatric Patients.

Qualifications:
- MSW obtained from an accredited school of Social Work required.

- Acting as the first point of contact for all computer and related hardware, application and telecom related requests for IT service and support.
- Resolve technical issues related to servers, computers, printers, computer peripheral devices and telecommunication devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Office and health information applications.
- Recording, categorizing and logging requests for service using a central ticket management solution;
- Leveraging available tools (SMS, remote support utilities, knowledge base and other sources of documentation) to resolve incidents in an efficient and effective manner
- Transferring and escalating incidents and problems to 2nd/3rd level support resources and following up with ticket owners to ensure resolution in a timely manner;

Requirements:
- Successful completion of University and/or Community College diploma in a health-related or computer technology program.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Technical Service Desk role is required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with expert level proficiency in Microsoft, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Microsoft Office 2013, MS Server 2008/12, MS SQL 2008/12, and Citrix Desktop is required.
- Experience with Meditech and other healthcare information applications is an asset.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware, printer hardware, peripherals, and E-Mail Systems issues is required.
- Experience in troubleshooting Local and Wide area networks and is an asset.
- ITIL Foundation experiences and/or certification is an asset.

- Practices in accordance with the standards of practice and guidelines as outlined by the Canadian Anaesthesiologists Society of Canada (CAS)
- Works within a client and family centered care model and the vision and values of Humber River Health.
- Provides technical support and clinical assistance with induction, maintenance and recovery phases of anesthesia by working both under the direct clinical supervision of the Anesthesiologist and as a member of an integrated surgical team.
- Assists the Anaesthesiologist in developing and implementing the anesthesia care plan.
- Monitors physiological responses of patients to the induction of anesthesia during surgery of anesthetic peripheral and neuraxial blocks before surgery.
- Ensures effective and safe patient care by demonstrating continuous improvement, education and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a recognized Anesthesia Assistant Program required
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO) or the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) required
- Undergraduate degree in a health-related field required, Masters preferred.
- Current certification for Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) required

Reporting to the Manager, Occupational Health Safety and Wellness, the Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) contributes to a safe and healthy work environment by developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive health & safety programs for all those employed by/working at Humber River Health including staff, auxiliary, volunteers, physicians, and students.
In addition, the OHN provides oversight to Occupational Heath, Safety and Wellness Clinic, leads and oversees workplace health, safety and wellness; co-ordinates the case management of illness and injury claims, co-ordinates the employee return to work process, co-ordinates accommodation for those at work or returning to work and provides expertise on attendance support programs. The OHN assumes responsibility for providing the Employee Health Surveillance Program in accordance with the Public Hospitals Act, using the OHA/OMA Guidelines.
The OHN provides diverse healthcare services including first aid to prevent illness, maintain health/wellness, and provides early intervention and rehabilitation when injuries or health problems occur. The OHN advises management and employees on Occupational Health issues in the workplace and assists to ensure the organization is in regulatory compliance.

- Provide safety, disability management, and nursing (Occupational Health) services for all staff and volunteers
- To develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health & safety programs that contribute to a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and workers (e.g. staff, volunteers, physicians, and students)
- Deliver diverse healthcare and/or first aid services to prevent illness , maintain health/wellness
- Perform clinical assessments and provide educational support to employees; triage referrals to appropriate internal and external physicians and other health care providers; provide employee health information to external health partners
- Coordinate case management activities for employee illness and injury claims including return to work processes
- Provide early intervention and rehabilitation when injuries or health problems occur
- Coordinate workplace accommodations for those at work or returning to work
- Support to Unit Managers and HR regarding the attendance program

- Advise management and employees on Occupational Health issues to ensure organizational compliance with regulatory requirements
- Market, promote, and maintain proactive wellness initiatives and education materials and programs on a variety of health, safety, and wellness topics that suit a broad range of patient, employer, public, and WSIB needs
- Research, develop, design, and implement educational and wellness initiatives for multiple stakeholders
- Provide information and education for leaders and staff regarding OHS processes related to short-term and long-term disability (STD and LTD) claims
- Participate in needs monitoring, assessment, and implementation of Occupational Health Programs
- Conduct new hire health assessments, mask fit tests, immunization tests and surveillance, flu clinics, counselling, and debrief critical incidents
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute reports for Toronto Public Health and other external stakeholders to meet legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. employee immunization status, employee injury/illness trends, immunization statistics, etc.)
- Identify and integrate preventative measures to promote health and control health care hazards (e.g. biological, physical, chemical, ergonomic, psychological)
- Maintain first aid and other supplies required for the delivery of the OH program
Job requirements:
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (RN required);
- Masters Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) required
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse Designation (COHN) preferred (or commitment to complete within first 2 years of employment)
- Occupational Health Nurse experience preferred
- 3-5 years acute care nursing experience required
- Current OOHNA membership preferred;
- Current Standard First Aid Certificate required
- Experience in Disability Management and Occupational health field managing WSIB, STD, LTD and Rehabilitation claims management - preferred
- Strong computer skills in MS Office required, Parklane system preferred; expertise in relevant legislation, e.g. WSIA, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Human Rights Code;

Responsibilities:
- Completes psychiatric nursing assessment of patients
- Administers Regular and or PRN medication to patients as required.
- Provides health teaching to children, youth and family members concerning medication regimes using a biopsychosocial framework.
- Leads and co-leads therapeutic groups and supervises patient learning activities in a classroom setting.
- Establishes therapeutic alliances with the patients and their families.
- Implements patient interventions based on assessment, patient and family input and in conjunction with the treatment team using a patient and family centered approach to care.
- Ensures coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with all members of the team including school teachers and teaching assistant.
- Documents all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress and discharge summaries of interventions as required

Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BCLS/CPR certification required.
- BScN preferred.
- Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing required, or willingness to obtain within one year of hire.
- Formal CPI certification required.
- 2 to 3 Years of recent child & adolescent mental health experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to provide individual/group counseling for children and youth
- Excellent assessment skills, including demonstrated knowledge of crisis intervention skills for children and youth.

- Experience with specific individual/group therapy skills (e.g. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy) is an asset

Hourly Rate Range: $37.93 - $54.37
Schedule Requirements: Must be available days, nights, weekends and statutory holidays.

Position Responsibilities:
- Care of acutely ill cardiac medical and surgical patients.
- Care of patients requiring Hemodynamic and ventilation monitoring by means of invasive and non- invasive approaches.
- Care planning and coordination of care with various team members embracing patient centered care.
- Utilization of computerized systems for documentation of patient care.
- Participation in project teams or Hospital committees as required.
Qualifications:
- Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
- Current BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum 2 years Critical Care experience.
- Critical Care Certificate required.
- Experience in working on a Nurse Lead Rapid Response Team preferred
- Experience in critical care with hemodynamic monitoring and invasive and non invasive ventilation required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Good problem solving skills required.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work with a multidisciplinary team, patients, family members and visitors.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated good patient assessment skills. Patient assessment course preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
- Scanning a variety of cases, including: neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, angiographic and breast patients.
- Prepare and assess patients for MRI including MRI safety screening, obtaining contrast consent, confirm exam validity, and resourcing Radiologist as is necessary
- Complete exam process by image review, confirming documentation and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACS
- Knowledge of and dutifully follows MRI safety practices for the protection of the patient, colleagues and self
Qualifications:
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) as an MRI Technologist required.
- MRT plus MRI certification required.
- Registration with CAMRT preferred.
- Previous recent clinical MRI experience required.
- Must have working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Perform all CT procedures as per determined department protocols or as directed by the Radiologist
- Ability to operate all types of equipment used within the departments, including CT scanner,Contrast Injectors,etc
- Prepare and assess patients for CT scan including obtaining contrast consent, confirming exam validity,sterile technique practices and resourcing Radiologist as is necessary
- Complete exam process by image review, confirming documentation and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACS
- Knowledge of and dutifully follows radiation safety practices for the protection of the patient, colleagues and their own occupational dose
Requirements:
- Must be registered and in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Registration with the CAMRT preferred
- CT certificate preferred
- Previous experience in CT preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as within a group environment.

Position Responsibilities:
- RPN responsibilities set out by the department.
- Provide care for chronically ventilated and acutely ill patients with respiratory health problems in collaborating with the Registered Respiratory Therapists where necessary
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two year diploma program.
- Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BCLS certification.

- Experience providing care to patients with ventilators, tracheostomy, central lines, complex wounds and feeding tubes is preferred.
